Each
part gets its meaning from the body as a whole,
not the other way around.
Romans 12:5
What
is the purpose of Fellowship Groups?
Fellowship groups are designed to nurture our personal walk with
God as we grow in our relationship with one another. These groups
are comprised of 10-15 adults from various ages and life experiences.
What
happens at Fellowship Groups?
These evenings include refreshments, discussion around a biblical
theme, and intercessory prayer.
What
is expected of group members?
It is hoped that you will commit yourself to attending one specific
group, on a regular basis, and to fully participate by caring (1
Cor. 12:25), learning (1 Cor.3:16), encouraging (1 Thes. 5:11),
and accepting (Rom. 15:7) one another.
Christ calls us to not only
believe... but to belong.
How
do I get involved?
Select the group to which you would like to be a part of and then
call the co-facilitator to join. You are welcome at any time so
don't ever feel like you are an intruder!
What
is there for my young children during Fellowship Groups?
Each group takes care of its own childcare format.
When
do Fellowship Groups meet?
They meet in various homes throughout the York Region, from 6:00
- 7:30 p.m., on the first and third Sunday night of each month.
Let's see how inventive we
can be
in encouraging love and helping out
...sparring each other on.
